This situation is used when the number of consignments by the owner is not enough to fill the box. The classification, consolidation, concentration, packing (unpacking), delivery, etc. of LCL are carried out at the carrier terminal container terminal or the inland container transfer station.
LCL can be divided into direct fight or transfer spelling. Straight fight means that the goods in the LCL container are loaded and unloaded in the same port. Before the goods arrive at the destination port, they are not unboxed, that is, the goods are in the same discharge port. Such LCL services have short transit times and are convenient and fast. Generally, a strong LCL company will provide only such services. Transfer spelling means that the goods in the container are not the same port of destination and they need to be unloaded or unloaded or transshipped in the middle. Due to different destinations and long waiting times, such cargoes have a long delivery period and even high freight rates.
2, LCL cargo generally can not accept the designation of a specific shipping company, the shipping company only accepts the booking of the entire box of cargo, and does not directly accept the booking of the LCL cargo, only through the freight forwarding agency (a separate strong shipping company through its logistics The company) will be able to ship the company after spelling out the LCL cargo. Almost all of the LCL cargo will be transported through the freight forwarding company's “centralized operations and centralized allocation”. The LCL distribution center in East China is basically Shanghai Port. General freight forwarders can only concentrate on booking to several shipping companies due to the limitation of supply. They rarely meet the needs of designated shipping companies. Therefore, when concluding LCL transactions, try not to accept designated shipping companies to avoid consignments. Can not meet the requirements.
3. When negotiating deals with customers, special attention should be paid to the relevant terms of transportation so as to avoid the fact that the other party's letter of credit was found to be unable to satisfy the terms of the transportation when it was checked. In daily operations, we often encounter L/C regulations. LCL does not accept bills of lading from freight forwarders because shipping companies do not directly accept bookings for LCL shipments. Shipping companies’ ocean bills of lading are issued to freight forwarders, and freight forwarders re-export them. HOUSE B/L is issued to the consignor. If the L/C stipulation does not accept the freight forwarding B/L, then there will be no choice of space for actual transport handling, which will cause L/C inconsistency. For another example, when we went through the shipment, we found a delivery note stating: Goods must be shipped in container on LCL basis and Bill of Lading to evidence he same and to show that all LCL. processing charges, THC and delivery order charges at Thd port of discharges are prepaid. 4. The billing tonnage of LCL shipments strives to be accurate. Before delivery of LCL, the factory shall be required to accurately measure the weight and size of the goods. When the goods are delivered to the warehouse designated by the freight forwarder, the warehouse will normally re-measure, and will re-measure the size and weight of the goods. standard. In case of factory changing packaging, the factory shall be required to notify in a timely manner, do not wait until the arrival of goods to the freight forwarding warehouse, through the freight forwarding to feedback information, often time is tight, and then change the customs declaration document, it is easy to delay the declaration, or produce expedited customs fees And Hong Kong fees.
5, some ports due to lack of LCL cargo supply, high cost reasons, freight forwarding companies specializing in LCL on the volume of goods with a minimum charge standards, such as the minimum starting 2 tonnage, that is less than 2 tons of freight, Always charge by 2 freight tons. Therefore, when the volume of goods is relatively small, goods with a port bias need to take into account some of these factors in order to avoid passive in the future.
6, for some routes and ports are more remote, and the customer proposed to be delivered to the inland point of the LCL cargo, it is best to consult before signing the contract, confirm that the shipping company and freight forwarding company can undertake these remote ports, inland points Sign the delivery and related costs.
7. In order to cooperate with China's accession to the WTO, all local customs will examine key products that are sensitive and protected by trademark property rights. For goods involving intellectual property rights, the “Intellectual Property Declaration Form” should be completed in advance, regardless of whether there is a brand, whether it is a registered trademark of the company or the factory, or a customer's license. All the relevant registered trademark information or the client's power of attorney should be prepared in advance; for a wide variety of goods, there are many different types of merchandise in a single ticket vouchers. The merchandise name and article number should be exhaustively listed when making a bill.
